Was an eight day Summer Project, it was part of Westminster Council’s Holiday Activities and Food programme.
Over the eight days we had picnics, trips to art galleries and open green spaces, story telling, drawing, singing, acting, playing and eating great food. The project was open to children and young people in receipt of Free School Meals aged between 4 and 18 years.
We had visiting practitioners each day including a theatre director, a collage artist, an actor/musician and a yoga/rapper and every day was supported by Gemma who also created art with the children.
Delivered in collaboration with Bounce Theatre and Wildcard Theatre, we’d like to thank all of the extraordinary children, many who were refugees who had recently arrived into the UK and to all of the incredible practitioners who gave their all and to Grosvenor Estate who ‘lent’ us the most beautiful building ever in Grosvenor Square.
